Since 1 January 2005, subject to certain exemptions, the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 will give you a right of access to recorded information held by public authorities.

The FOI Act applies to the vast majority of public authorities, including the Policing Board.  When the Act came into force on 1 January 2005, if you ask us for information we will be required to:
