The Policing Board at its meeting on 4 October 2007 agreed a policy on the possible forfeiture of a portion of police pension in respect of former police officers and members of the Full-Time Reserve who have committed a criminal offence. The forfeiture provisions are contained in the PSNI and PSNI Reserve (injury Benefits) Regulations 2006 and the Northern Ireland Office Policing Division Circular 18/2006 issued ini December 2006.
