The main responsibilities of the Human Resources Committee are:
- To monitor PSNI recruitment and support efforts to secure a representative police service in terms of gender and community background
- To secure, promote and monitor the implementation of the PSNI's Human Resource strategy
- To secure, promote and monitor the implementation of the PSNI's Training, Education and Development strategy
