A charity sector leader, Dr. Kate Laverty has specialised in mental health and community engagement. She volunteers in her local youth centre, and sits as Council Chair for the M.S. Society UK in N. Ireland. Her EdD focussed on the experiences of LGBTQIA youths in N. Ireland’s secondary schools.
