Meetings

The Policing Board has a statutory duty to hold eight meetings in public each year.

Policing Board meetings normally comprise of three sessions – a private session for Policing Board Members and officials only, a private session where the Policing Board is joined by the Chief Constable and chief officers, and a public session that members of the public and media are invited to attend in person or view via livestream.  Find out more about the Board meetings in public by selecting the relevant link on the right.

The Board has five Committees as follows:

  • Audit and Risk Assurance Committee 
  • Discipline Committee
  • Partnership Committee
  • Performance Committee
  • Resources Committee
