Currently the process for IOD & Ill Health Retirement awards is the responsibility of the Policing Board who are an accountability body not a service delivery body. Taking that into consideration, will the Chief Constable make it a priority to work with the Board and the DOJ to seek a tripartite agreement that would secure legislative change to move this body of work away from the Board?
