Question

It has been reported that in twenty seven cases of under 18 strip searches on only one occasion was an appropriate adult present for the search.  Why is this figure so low for an appropriate adult being present, did the searches provide any evidence to be followed up on and what is the impact of this on public confidence in PSNI?
