Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliance(s) and the exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):

  1. non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some documents do not meet the WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) standard. This means they do not have sufficient colour contrast. Poor contrast makes it difficult for someone with sight loss to see content properly.

Some documents do not meet the WCAG 4.1.2 (Name, Role Value) standard. This means they may not work with screen reading software.

Many pages on the site do not meet the WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow standard. This means that at 400% zoom the cookie banner covers the visible part of the screen and cannot be scrolled past.

Many pages on the site do not meet the WCAG 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) standard. This means that our footer links become obscured behind the cookie banner when they receive keyboard focus.

  1. the content is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Many documents on the site do not meet accessibility standard WCAG 4.1.2 (Name, Role Value). The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not require us to make documents published before 23 September 2018 accessible if they are not essential to providing our services.
