2017 - 2020 Corporate Plan
The Policing Board has published a three year Corporate Plan 2017 - 2020 for the period 1 April 2017 - 31 March 2020.
In developing this Plan, the Board has taken wider views and given much thought as to how its work should be reshaped to keep pace with new demands, new developments and best incorporate the move to a more outcomes based approach to delivery across the public sector. Through this work the Board has identified seven priorities for the period 2017 - 2020.
There are three themes for this Corporate Plan linking to the seven priorities, which are:
- Effectiveness, Efficiency and Continuous Improvement of the Police Service, Policing Board and Policing and Community Safety Partnerships.
- To provide leadership and influence to build trust and confidence in policing.
- Working collaboratively to support delivery of a safe community where we respect the law and each other.
Within these themes there are three outcomes and eight objectives.
This Corporate Plan is translated into an annual business plan for the Policing Board’s activity which outlines actions, performance indicators and targets. This is regularly monitored to ensure the Policing Board is achieving its corporate objectives.
Performance against delivery of the Corporate Plan and the Annual Business Plan is recorded in the Board’s Annual Report which can be viewed in the publications section
