Question

The attrition rate where a victim does not cooperate with prosecutions show a mixed picture with the rate increasing for violence against women and girls and for domestic abuse while generally reducing for hate crime categories except for a significant increase in hate crime based on transgender identity. Given that the figures for VAWG, domestic abuse are over 40 per cent, could the CC say what PSNI can do to improve the situation to ensure perpetrators are brought to book?
