A recent Police Ombudsman report on the abuse of position for sexual purposes indicated that supervisors misunderstood or misinterpreted guidance for dealing with inappropriate behaviours, and in relation to temporary promoted line managers it would appear that training in this area is not mandatory. It was previously reported there were 200 temporary promoted sergeants, how many are there today and how many have undertaken this training?
