Question
The misconduct dismissal rate in PSNI has risen from 54% to 79% in a year. The report attributes this to increased reporting rather than worsening conduct. What gives PSNI the confidence that this is the case and how to you distinguish a rise in serious misconduct from simply catching more of what was already there? Also, do you support a change in legislation to allow PONI to fast track cases and reduce costs by doing so?
