Question
In relation to flexible working within PSNI, I have heard that women feel guilty or unable to explore this option - recruitment does not seem to account for the family needs of women and the perception is that women feel they cannot avail of flexible working and this needs to be addressed. Why is the policy not being fully utilised, and how can it be right that only 3 women are job sharing according to the information I have? Additionally, I am being told that women are not availing of the policy because they are told not to and this is having an disproportionate impact on women.
