Given the recent public debate around allegations that Sinn Fein have requested police officers to leave their personal protection weapons outside any meetings they attend, can the Chief Constable confirm that he will clearly communicate to all officers that they should refuse all requests by any political party to remove firearms before attending meetings or entering party offices and secondly that all such requests are centrally recorded and challenged.
