At the NI affairs committee in June 2022 it was stated that the trust and confidence of victims in legacy processes is critical. With the Legacy Bill progressing is there evidence of much trust and confidence in the proposed legacy processes and does the Chief Constable have a view on potential damage to hard-won gains on the rule of law in NI if the legacy bill becomes law?
